A Community-Led Project for Blaina

This project is bringing together residents, skate park users, Nantyglo & Blaina Town Council, Blaenau Gwent County Borough Council, local groups, businesses and community partners to help shape the future of Blaina Skate Park.

At the Blaina Food Festival, residents told us that the skate park is an important local asset and that its current location should be retained. We're now building on those conversations by gathering ideas, understanding local priorities and exploring opportunities to improve the space.

We're also beginning to create a network of local people who want to get involved in shaping future developments in Blaina, with the skate park acting as the starting point.
